Dr. Martens Warehouse Sale Comes to Tustin Nov. 5-8

The official Dr. Martens Warehouse Sale opens this week at Alternative Retail in Tustin, offering discounted footwear in a multi-day, in-person event.
Shoppers will find boots, platforms, mules, slides, sandals and other styles from the brand, along with a limited selection of its “Made in England” line, which is produced in the company’s original English manufacturing tradition.
Pricing is set by category. Boots are $75, shoes are $65, and sandals are $55. Made in England boots, shoes and sandals are $100.
The sale runs Nov. 5 to 8 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. each day.

Bacchus Hosts Dresser Winery Dinner

Wine lovers in Irvine have a date to circle. Bacchus Bar & Bistro is hosting an exclusive Winemaker’s Dinner on Wednesday, Nov. 18, at 6 p.m., pairing a four-course menu from Chef Leo Moran with wines from Dresser Winery in Paso Robles.
Dresser’s Kory Burke will join Moran for the evening, which promises exceptional wines alongside inspired cuisine. Tickets are $125 per person.
Here’s a look at the menu:
First course: Pan-seared scallops with citrus beurre blanc, apple relish and caviar, paired with a 2024 Pinot Gris.
Second course: Muscovy duck breast with parsnip purée, caramelized heirloom carrots and Zinfandel blackberry sauce, paired with a 2024 Zinfandel.
Third course: Oven-roasted lamb chops with soft polenta, Provençal vegetables and Cabernet reduction, paired with a 2023 Cabernet Sauvignon.
Dessert: Chocolate mousse cake with cherry sauce, paired with a 2024 SFR.
